Organ donation awareness event

I have received the most amazing gift from somebody I never met and never will… Her heart is beating inside me and will power the life ahead of me, from my smallest steps to my wildest dreams. Golpira Mirzazadeh suffered from a heart disease for 14 years, eventually being prevented from leading a normal life. She was given the gift of life when a stranger donated her heart, and now she is helping raise awareness about organ donation.

Data Science Careers Event at Catz

Blenheim Chalcot are hosting an event at Cambridge focussing on data science. Speaking at the event are Kate Newhouse, Chief Executive Officer at Blenheim Chalcot and David Abensour, Chief Technology Officer at Blenheim Chalcot (and also University of Cambridge alumnus). Pembroke College Programme Assistant Easter vacancies

Would you like to be part of the successful delivery of an academic vacation programme for Japanese high school students? Pembroke College International Programmes (IP) department is recruiting eleven Programme Assistants (PAs) for Sunday 17th March to Tuesday 2nd April 2019. PAs are integral to the smooth running of the programme. They are expected to engage with visiting students as well as providing practical assistance to teaching staff. They help students to make the most of the Cambridge experience by welcoming them, helping them to settle into College life, organising social events and supporting them in the classroom.

CHaOS Winter Roadshow

Cambridge Hands-On Science needs you! Meet new people, get lots of free food and inspire children to enjoy science with fun, interactive experiments! CHaOS is looking for volunteers for our Winter Roadshow – a week of science outreach outreach events in and around Cambridge at the end of term. Maths Challenge, round 2

We would like to invite the members of your college to participate in the second round of our Maths Challenge: Creative Solutions Wanted! To participate in this challenge individuals, or group of individuals, need to find creative ways to solve probability problems and send those solutions to us. It is open to everybody (students, staff, friends and family) and we offer several prizes to winners. We are very interested in seeing diverse methods to solve problems that cater for people with any level of Maths knowledge: what solutions would you show people who have little experience of Maths, and can you think of novel approaches suited to experts?
