Applications to work at Gonville and Caius May Ball are now open!

Supervisors will be paid £140 to work the whole night of the Ball. The deadline is this Monday 21st January.

Half on half off workers
Workers who work the first half of the ball will receive entrance to the second half of the ball in lieu of payment.
Paid workers
Workers who work the second half of the ball will be paid £35, whilst workers who help with clean up after the ball will be paid £30.

Auditions for student acts are now open!

Whether you’re a DJ, band, comedian or something completely different, we’re looking for fantastic acts to make this year’s line up the best one yet, performing for thousands of guests. Auditions take place 18th-20th and 26th-27th January, please note St John’s does not attend the Big Weekend.

Jesus College May Ball Worker Applications

Applications to work at the Jesus College May Ball 2019 on Monday 17th June are open! For the opportunity to experience one of the largest May Balls in Cambridge first-hand while earning money, complete an application form before Thursday 14th February by following the link below. You will also find more information on the May Ball and the job positions available.

There are a variety of roles available, including Food and Drink workers, Security Stewards, and Entertainment Runners, as well as opportunities to take on a leadership position as a Team Leader or Court Supervisor. Previous experience in hospitality or May Balls is not essential for most roles.

We do not offer a half on / half off option, but all staff get breaks during the event in which they will be allowed to explore the Ball and sample the food and drink on offer.
